In the late 1890's, the City of Waukesha had its own trolley from Waukesha to Pewaukee Lake. The trolley was absorbed by TMER&L as part of the Milwaukee to Watertown route.  Today's Spring City Trolley was manufactured by Chance Coach in 1985.  The business was sold a couple of times and in 2009 the current owners, North American Bus, stopped producing trolleys.
